  • Develop and apply item designation standards (e.g. RDS-PP, NKS, IEC) in line with project and customer requirements
  • Create, process, and manage item designations ensuring compliance with the project plan
  • Maintain and manage equipment and item registers in databases and/or Excel, ensuring data quality, consistency, and traceability
  • Own the asset register and system breakdown structure, including configuration, usage, and continuous improvement
  • Manage the full data lifecycle of item designations from collection through validation, delivery, and archival
  • Coordinate technical requirements, schedules, and deliverables with customers, suppliers, and engineering teams
  • Maintain clear and structured documentation of item designation processes, decisions, and deliverables
your qualifications:

  • Master´s degree in engineering or a related technical field, alternatively a high school diploma with at least 2 years of relevant professional experience
  • Experience in system breakdown structures, asset registers, and item designation management across various engineering disciplines (e.g. HV/LV systems, electrical distribution, automation)
  • Proficient in Excel and database management tools used for engineering and asset register applications
  • Strong communication skills, ability to present and explain technical concepts to internal and external stakeholders
  • Team player with experience in multicultural and international project environments
  • Fluent in English (mandatory) and German (fluent, at least as a second language)
We offer you:

  • A permanent position
  • Competitive compensation
  • Flexible working hours and the option to work from home
  • Opportunities for professional development and training
  • A great work environment and a highly motivated team
