To support a well-known customer, we are looking for you, a Mainframe IMS Specialist (m/f/d) in full-time or part-time at the Essen location.

• Responsibility for the IMS software lifecycle management: installation, upgrade and maintenance of the software
• Exploration of new product features for continuous optimization
• Third-level support for software errors
• Contact person for customers when using the software products
• Implementation of change and problem handling
• Configuration and customization of software products
• Setting up parameters and carrying out reorganizations, health checks, etc.
• Communication with customers and providers

• Experience as an IMS system programmer or experience in a similar position
• Experience in 3rd level support
• IMS Level 3 system program skills
• Proficiency in installation, maintenance, problem diagnosis and administration of IMS DB
• Experience communicating with customers and vendors
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong service orientation and problem solving skills
